OAKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Two women sustained injuries in a crash on State Highway 417 in Oakland Twp., Venango County, on Saturday afternoon.

State police in Franklin said a vehicle operated by Mary B. Prichard, 81, Oil City, pulled into the path of a vehicle operated by Paul M. Mitchell, 19, Oil City, on Saturday around 2:05 p.m.

Prichard, and a passenger in her vehicle, Twila L. Snyder, 85, Cooperstown, were transported to UPMC Northwest for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.

Oakland VFD and Reno Ambulance assisted at the scene.
