Sixteen-year-old Adante Smith, of Harrisburg, 15-year-old Damon Ricketts, of Newark, Del., and 17-year-old Jaami Clark, Jr., of Upper Darby, were arrested by Upper Darby Township Police in Delaware County on Tuesday.

They escaped from Abraxas 1 Juvenile Facility in Jenks Township on Sunday and later crashed a car they had stolen from a Marienville man on Interstate 80 in Union County.

According to a tweet by the Upper Darby Township Police, one of the teens was involved in a robbery with two adults, leaving a total of five jailed.

According to Marienville-based State Police Tpr. Kathleen Watters, two of the three are being held in a juvenile detention facility in Delaware County, and the other is in a Dauphin County facility.

“When they escaped, they each violated their probation, and their probation agents placed them in those two facilities,” Watters said.

It is not yet known if charges will be filed locally.
