CLARION, Pa.(EYT) — The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal’s Unit is seeking information on a fire that destroyed a strip club in Clarion Township early Thursday morning.

State Police Fire Marshal David M. Powell investigated the scene at the Sugar Shack located along Route 66 and determined that the fire started in the ceiling or attic. A cause could not be determined.

Damages are estimated at $300,000.00.

The building is insured.

The call came in around 3:20 a.m., according to Clarion County Office of Emergency Services.

Police say a passing motorist reported the fire, and when fire companies arrived, the roof had already been burned through.
