OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – The Oil City Police Department responded to the following calls:

Burglary on Washington Avenue

On Monday, October 15, the Oil City Police Department received a report of a burglary that occurred in the past two to three weeks at a residence on Washington Avenue.

Police have interviewed multiple witnesses and are gathering additional the details related to the incident.

The case remains under investigation.

Suspicious Person at Justus Park

Around 8:37 p.m. on Monday, October 15, Oil City Police responded to an incident in which a male was seen standing in the doorway of the men’s restroom in Justus Park.

After making contact with the man, he stated he was just using the free wifi and did not know the park closes at dusk.
