UPDATE: Route 58 Reopened After Closure From Tractor-Trailer Rollover

RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Route 58 near Foxburg has been reopened after being closed for several hours following a tractor-trailer rollover accident on Wednesday afternoon.

According to PennDOT, the roadway reopened late Thursday afternoon.

The closure occurred following a crash that was reported around 12:28 p.m. near 1312 Route 58 in Richland Township, Clarion County.

St. Petersburg Volunteer Fire Company, Emlenton Fire Department, Knox Area Ambulance Service, and Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

One patient was transported from the scene by Knox Area Ambulance Service.

According to the Clarion-based State Police, State Route 58 was closed for the removal of the truck.

State police told exploreClarion.com that “the tanker needed to be emptied before it could be removed.”

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release additional information within the next 48 hours.
