OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Police in Oil City have located two young boys who went missing from a Plummer Street residence this morning.

According to a representative of the Oil City Police Department, two children, ages 8 and 12, were found around 9:30 a.m. in a wooded area near Fat Dogs Restaurant along Grandview Avenue.

Police said the two boys were out walking and “lost their sense of direction.”

They’ve been returned home safely to their mother.
