UPDATE: Road Conditions Improving, Accidents Cleared in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Police say road conditions are improving following multiple motor vehicle accidents due to road conditions throughout the City of Oil City Friday morning.

According to police, conditions on the streets in Oil City have improved as of 10:00 a.m. Friday.

Police say Plummer Avenue is still slick, but public works crews are currently working on getting additional salt on the roadway.

Central Avenue, Innis Street, and First Street have all been salted, but police advise caution, as all three roads are still slick in some places.

The scenes of all of the accidents reported earlier this morning have been cleared, and traffic is moving freely.

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release additional information on the accidents within the next 48 hours.
