SENECA, Pa. (EYT) – David Gibbons, the President of UPMC Northwest, will be leaving his current position to become Chief Operating Officer at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

According to GoErie.com, Gibbons will start the job on August 6.

He’s set to replace Jim Fiorenzo, who is now UPMC Hamot’s President.

Gibbons, a Venango County Native and Clarion University graduate, had been President at UPMC Northwest since March of 2009.
