Utica Man Assaulted with Bottle; Refuses to ‘Snitch’ on Person Who Hit Him

POLK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 12:45 a.m. on August 16, an aggravated assault occurred at Little Sandycreek, in Polk Borough, Venango County.

According to police, an unidentified perpetrator physically assaulted a 22-year-old Utica man by “striking him with an unknown object (possibly a bottle) which caused a bleeding wound on his head.”

Police say the victim knows who assaulted him but does not want to be a snitch, so he refused to divulge the perpetrator’s identity.

Community Ambulance Service transported the victim to UPMC Northwest to receive treatment for his injury.

No other information was released.
