Valeria Eileen Yingling

Valeria Eileen Yingling, 96 of Franklin passed away at 3:00 A.M. on Friday December 1, 2017 at The Caring Place where she has resided since 2013.

Born in Rockland on August 17, 1921, she was a daughter of the late George and Ethel Flowers Schoch.

She graduate from the former Rockland High School.

A woman of faith, Valeria was a former active member at the First Church of God at Seventh St. in Franklin.

She was a cook for many years at several area restaurants and most recently worked at the former Venango Manor where she retired from.
On July 12, 1941 she married her high school sweetheart Robert L. Yingling and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1960.

Surviving are two children, Carole Baker and her husband Fred of Franklin and Dennis Yingling and his wife Linda of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Rob Yingling, David Baker, Steve Baker, Teri Salie and husband Cris, Sheri Baker, Brian Yingling, and Jason Yingling; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dale Yingling; a granddaughter, Lori Yingling; two sisters, Twila Berringer and Betty Stack; two step sisters, Thelma and Marian; a daughter in law, Melinda Yingling.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday and 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Tuesday.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Linda Deeter, officiating.

Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery.
