Vehicle and Deer Collide in Sugarcreek Boro

SUGARCREEK BORO, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based state police, a one-car crash occurred in Sugarcreek Boro, Venango County, Pa.

Police say around 6:30 a.m. on October 11, 2012, Tonya S. Hicks of Cooperstown, Pa., was traveling east on State Route 322 in a 2004 Dodge Durango and a deer entered the roadway from the south berm and impacted with the front end of the vehicle.

Hicks and her 9-year-old passenger were not injured; they were both wearing seat belts.
