Vehicle Stolen in Bradford Recovered in Jackson Township

JACKSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a stolen vehicle was recovered early Sunday morning.

According to police, around 1:04 a.m. on February 5, a while 2005 Pontiac G6 was discovered to be perpedicular to the traffic lanes on Shay Road, in Jackson Township, Venango County.

Upon further investigation, the vehicle was determined to be a match for a vehicle theft from Bradford, Pa.

The owner — a 50-year-old Eldred, Pa. man — was contacted, and the vehicle has been released.

According to police, the suspects are 18-year-old Austin J. Crooks, of Bradford, and a known, 17-year-old Gifford, Pa. male.

No other information was provided.
