CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a one-vehicle crash occurred early Tuesday morning on East State Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 4:18 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, Christian D. Griffith, 22, of Edinburg, was traveling west on East State Road when he lost control of his 2018 Kia Sportage while attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve. The vehicle slid off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and turned over. It came to a final rest on its roof.

Griffith was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the accident.

Community Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
