Vehicles Collide Head-On in Rockland Township

ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say two vehicles collided head-on in a crash that occurred late Thursday evening on Rockland Township.

According to police, around 7:58 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, a crash occurred on Coal City Road just east of Mays Mill Road in Rockland Township.

Police say a 2000 Toyota RAV-4 was traveling west on Coal City Road, negotiating a right-hand curve in the road, when the vehicle slid on the snow-covered road and traveled into the westbound lane, where it struck a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country head-on.

Both drivers and all occupants of the vehicles were wearing their seatbelts. No injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

The identities of those involved in the accident were not released.

Rockland Volunteer Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
