VENANGO COUNTY, Pa., (EYT) — The Future Leaders & Entrepreneurs Exchange (FLEX) announced nominees for the 2018 Young Professional of the Year.

The eleven nominees were selected based on their contributions to the community through civic engagement, entrepreneurship, leadership, and more. Nominees must be 40 years of age or younger and live and/or work in Venango County.

“It continues to be important to recognize the many young people who call Venango County home. They are well-employed, serving as leaders, and contributing greatly to our region,” said Susan Williams, executive director of the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce. “This night is held to join young professionals in celebration and help them in envisioning a better future.”

The 2018 nominees will be recognized and the winner will be awarded at the Annual FLEX Presents event, which will take place on Friday, April 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad.

Hors-d’oeuvres and drinks will be served and cocktail attire is suggested.
