The Venango County DUI Task Force conducted roving patrols on the night of May 29th in Venango County.

Franklin Police reported the following results:

Fifteen traffic stops were conducted with 14 warning being issued for traffic and equipment violations.

One arrest was made for Driving Under the Influence.

The task force will be conducting more roving patrols and DUI checkpoints in various locations throughout Venango County during the next several months.

The Venango County DUI Task Force is comprised of the Franklin Police Department; Oil City Police Department; Sugarcreek Police Department; Polk Borough Police Department; Emlenton Police Department; Venango County Sheriff’s Department; and Venango County Court Supervision.
