“We have a lot of new events and a ton of small activities all week long for kids on top of what we usually do,” Fair Secretary Tabitha Shaw said.

Fair organizers expect one of those new events – The Toyota Rodeo Presented by the Rawhide Rodeo Company on Saturday, August 11 at 7:00 p.m. – to be a big hit amongst fairgoers.

The Rawhide Rodeo Company, based in New York, has been producing rodeos and rodeo-related events for over three decades. It has grown from a small professional rodeo company to one of the largest and most accredited in the world, now producing over 100 rodeo performances per year.

“This is the first time we’ve had a rodeo and we’re hoping it’s going to be a big event,” said Shaw.

Saturday’s rodeo will feature Bareback Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Cowgirl’s Barrel Racing, Cowgirl’s Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, and more.

Fair tickets are affordably priced at $6.00 per day or $20.00 for the week. Children under eight are admitted free.
