FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – The 57th Annual Venango County Fair continues today through Saturday, August 8.

4-H shows, Lawn Tractor Pulls, and Live music by Nelson Porter highlight today’s festivities at the fair.
Monday’s Full Schedule:
9 a.m. — 11 a.m. – Judging of 4-H Clothing & Textile Projects — Log Cabin
9 a.m. – Judging of all small exhibits ( Exhibit halls will be closed to the public until judging is completed)
9 a.m. – 4-H & Open Dairy Goat Show – Phillips Arena
9 a.m. – 4-H Pleasure Horse Show- Kiwanis Bowl
10 a.m. – Rock’n Roll Pet Store-Puppet Show- Scrubgrass Stage
10:30 a.m. – Bear Hollow Wood Carving Show- Top of the Hill
11:30 a.m. – Rock n Roll Pet Store- Puppet Show- Scrubgrass Stage
12 p.m. — 2 p.m. – Carnegie Science Center- Make & Take — Silly Putty – Log Cabin
12 p.m. – Bear Hollow Wood Carving Show- Top of the Hill
1 p.m. – Barnyard Olympics — Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest — Main Stage/ Pulling Track
1:30 p.m. – Bear Hollow Wood Carving Show — Top of the Hill
2 p.m. – Carnegie Science Center — Make & Take — Tie Dyed Log Cabin
2 p.m. – 4-H & Open Market/Meat Goat Show — Phillips Arena
3 p.m. – Have Monkey Will Travel — Scrubgrass Stage
4 p.m. – Bear Hollow Wood Carving Show — Top of the Hill
5 p.m. – 4-H Game Horse Show — Kiwanis Bowl
5 p.m. – Have Monkey Will Travel — Scrubgrass Stage
6 p.m. – Baked Goods Auction, Foster Bullock
6 p.m. — 8 p.m. – Twisted by Payden- balloon artist — Kelly’s Corner
6 p.m. — 8 p.m. – Venango Brigade — Strolling
6:30 p.m. – Lawn Tractor Pulls — Main Stage/Pulling Track
7 p.m. – Music by Nelson Porter — Scrubgrass Stage
7:30 p.m. – Movie Night — Movie TBA — Log Cabin
Fairgrounds Close at 11 p.m.
The annual Venango County Fair features agricultural, livestock and small animal exhibits, judging, contests, entertainment, food, demolition derby, baked goods auction, magic shows, contests, garden tractor pulls and much more.
The cost of the event is $6.00 per person, under 8 free.
There is free parking.
The fairgrounds are located at 867 Mercer Road in Franklin, Pa.
