Venango County Tea Party Patriots Post Interviews with Candidates for County Commissioner

VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. — Venango County Tea Party Patriots have just completed and posted audio interviews with the candidates for the Venango County Commissioner position.

As part of their voter education mission, the Tea Party asked the candidates the same 10 questions regarding their qualifications, their philosophy on their oath of office and their stand on issues such as balancing the budget, the Oil City Parking Garage, Land Banks, Agenda 21, Election concerns, etc.

Each was given two minutes to give their answer. Six of the eight candidates responded by participating. They are Albert Abramovic (D), Timothy Brooks (R), Deb Lutz (D), Fred Weaver (R), Craig Westover (R) and Vince Witherup (R). Adam Craig (R) and Douglas Dinsberg (D) did not respond.

It is important that every voter take the time to educate themselves on the candidates running for every office and to make it a point to exercise their civic duty to vote on May 19.
