BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, two victims alleging sex abuse by 58-year-old Dr. David Evanko, a former Butler County doctor, ended their testimony yesterday in Butler County court.

Evanko, now of Lancaster County, is on trial on two counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, and statutory rape.

Sources say the second victim, now 34 years old, was cross-examined yesterday in day three of the trial by defense attorney Stan Levenson.

The victim testified that he was sexually molested by Evanko, whom he called “Doc”, back when he was still a young boy. He testified that he told his mother about the abuse in 2005.

Sources say five more witnesses are expected to be called for the prosecution for the remainder of the day.
