Victoria K. Nunamaker

Victoria K. Nunamaker, 68, of Climax, died Tuesday evening, January 3, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital.

Born on December 31, 1948 in Climax, Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Genevieve F. (Burford) Wiant.

She was a homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren and great granddaughters. She also loved animals and enjoyed crocheting and reading.

She is survived by four children, Joseph Nunamaker and his wife, Carol, Mona Weaver and her husband, David, William Nunamaker, and Amy Nunamaker, all of New Bethlehem, four grandchildren, Ashley Toy and her husband, Brandon, Colton Nunamaker, Morgan Nunamaker, and Cassidy Karns-Waters and her husband, Cedric, two great granddaughters, April M. Toy and Era R. Karns-Waters, and two brothers, William Wiant and his wife, Pauline of Rimersburg and Bruce Wiant of Fairmount City.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Givens, and seven brothers, Jerry Wiant, Harrison Wiant, Donald Wiant, Gary Wiant, Robert Wiant, and two infants.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Leatherwood Church with Pastor Doug Henry officiating.

The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
