RSVP Senior Corps of Venango County is looking for volunteers age 55 and older to be part of their Healthy Futures initiative.

An informational meeting will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013, in Bandstand Park as part of the annual Senior Appreciation Day.

A box lunch is available for a $1 donation. Registration is required by June 13 and can be done by calling 432 9723.

RSVP is a part of the National Senior Corps. Funded by a federal grant and sponsored by Venango County Area Agency on Aging, this program helps people age 55 and older find rewarding opportunities for community service. Each year 500+ volunteers serve to strengthen and support programs in over 45 agencies in Venango County.
