Wanted Franklin Man Apprehended

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — A Franklin man who failed to report for a meeting with his parole officer was arrested Wednesday morning.

At 8:20 a.m. on August 30, Venango County Sheriff’s Deputy and Pennsylvania State Probation and Parole Agent arrested wanted person 45-year-old Thomas Wesley Hazlett (Andrews) at 38 Prospect Avenue, in Franklin.

During the arrest, it was discovered by the Deputy that Hazlett was in possession of a controlled substance.

Charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia will be filed against Hazlett by the Venango County Sheriff’s Office.

Hazlett was booked into the Venango County Jail.

A warrant was issued for Hazlett’s arrest when he failed to report to his parole officer.

He is on probation on charges of hindering apprehension, criminal conspiracy to commit forgery, and criminal conspiracy to commit ID theft.
