Wanted Oil City Man Apprehended

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City man who was being sought by Clarion-based State Police is in custody.

Shawn Michael Clark, 37, of Oil City, was arraigned at 7:30 p.m., Thursday in District Judge Timothy Schill’s office.

Clark is facing charges of indecent exposure and harassment, both misdemeanors, that stem from a December 18, 2017, incident.

He was placed in the Clarion County Jail after failing to post $10,000 cash bail.

Clark’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:45 p.m., Tuesday in Judge Schill’s office.

According to a previous report issued December 30 by Tpr. Vaughn Norbert said an arrest warrant has been issued for Clark who was accused of violating a protection from abuse order at a location along Huckleberry Ridge Road in Beaver Township, Clarion County.
