OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — A warrant has been issued for an Oil City woman accused of stealing DVDs, tools, CB radios, and guns from an Oil City residence.

Court documents indicate the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 35-year-old Brenna Marie Baker of Oil City.

According to a criminal complaint, around 12:18 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, a known victim called the Oil City Police Department to report that he was missing items from his house which his ex-tenant had taken.

The victim reported that he and his wife allowed Brenna Baker to stay at their house because she was homeless and had her children with her and said that she moved in during November of 2017. Due to her removing things and other issues, she was asked to leave at the end of August, but she did not leave until the first week of September 2018. While living at the victim’s house, Baker had full access to the house.

According to the complaint, while the victims were going through their house, they found items missing, including over 50 DVDs along with several DVD boxed collections, several tools, including both hand and power tools, a six-inch car buffer new in the box, a Ruger Model 10/22 rifle, a Mossberg 20 gauge shotgun, and three 40 channel CB radios.

The complaint also notes that the victim went to local establishments that buy items and found that Brenna Baker sold DVDs and tools to a local establishment on June 19, for $35.00. Patrolman Ragon of the Oil City Police Department confirmed the sale with the establishment.

Based on the investigation, the following charges were filed on Friday, November 2, in Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office:

  • Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Property, Felony 2
  • Receiving Stolen Property, Felony 2
  • Theft By Deception-Prevent Acquisition Of Information, Misdemeanor 2

Baker had not been taken into custody as of Friday afternoon.
