Warren Man Accused of Sexual Assault of 5-Year-Old Girl

WARREN, Pa. (EYT) — Warren-based State Police say a 66-year-old man has been accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl.

Following an investigation by Warren County Children Youth Services, 66-year-old Frank D. Williams, of Warren, was named by a 5-year-old female juvenile as the person who sexually assaulted her around 2:00 p.m. on May 11, 2015, while she was at his residence, according to police.

Police say Williams was interviewed by PSP Warren at the request of the Warren City Police Department.

The following charges were filed on May 21, 2015, as a result of the interview:

  • Aggravated Ind. Assault — Comp. Less Than 13 Years Old, Felony 2
  • Corruption Of Minors — Defendant Age 18 or Above, Felony 3
  • Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age, Misdemeanor 1

Unable to post $50,000.00, Williams was lodged in the Warren County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on May 27 in front of Magisterial District Judge Glenn S. Carlson.

As of May 24, court records indicate Williams remains incarcerated.
