Warren Man Suffers Major Injuries in Motorcycle Crash

SUGAR GROVE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Warren-based State Police say a 37-year-old man suffered major injuries in a motorcycle crash on June 21, in Sugar Grove Township, Warren County.

According to police, the crash occurred around 9:35 p.m. on June 21, as Aaron C. Feeny, of Warren, was traveling south on State Route 69 near Dennigan Hill.

Feeny lost control of his 2009 Kawasaki Ninja as he was negotiating a left hand curve in the roadway, police say.

His motorcycle traveled along the southbound berm for approximately 21 feet before leaving the berm and traveling down an embankment. Feeny traveled down the embankment for approximately 18 feet before his motorcycle began to roll over, causing marks in the dirt, according to police.

Police say the motorcycle traveled another 27 feet before coming to a final rest facing west.

Feeny was thrown from the motorcycle and was found approximately 12 feet south of the motorcycle, according to police.

Feeny suffered major injuries in the crash and was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment, police say.

The investigation is ongoing.

PSP Warren were assisted at the scene by the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
