warrenWarren Thomas “Tom” Anderson, 80, of Franklin passed away on June 23, 2017 at 2:40 pm at Sugarcreek Station.

Born on April 21, 1937 at Coal Hill, he was the son of the late George I. and Verle L. Bickle Anderson

Tom was a 1955 graduate of Cranberry High School, retired foreman from PennDOT in 1980. He then worked for Hards Construction until he purchased, with his brother Tiny, the TNT Deli in 1984 which he operated with his family for 17 years.

On January 1, 1957, he married Ginger Lee Culp who preceded him in death in December 1999. On April 9, 2005 he married Mary Ellen Wood.

Along with his wife, he was survived by his sons Timothy Anderson of Seneca and Preston Anderson and his wife Kristy of Franklin; step-son Thomas Wood and his wife Betty of Wesleyville, PA; his step-daughters Melissa Dasher and her husband Ken of Salisbury, MD, Michele Carson and her husband Wesley of Grove City and Marci Gallagher and her husband Bill of Grand Canyon, AZ.; grandchildren Michelle, Maria and Jordan Anderson, Jason and his wife Merideth and Jackie Goucher; his step-grandchildren Victoria Swartz, Thomas Wood, Amanda Moss and her husband Jake, Cassandra, Nicolas, Lilly and Chloe Dasher, Garrett and Kaitlyn Carson and Liam, Brody and Aidan Gallagher; his great granchildren Nolan, Sophia, Penelope and Eloise.

He is further survived by his brother Veryl “Tiny” Anderson and his wife Peg of New Jersey.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Kim Renae Goucher and his brothers John, Robert Charles, George “Bill”, Paul Leroy, Alvin Walter,and Gene Anderson; his sisters Helen Mildred Show, Ruth Ann Watkins, and Audrey Joan Webb.

Friends are invited to the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, June 27th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 28th at 11:00 am with Rev. Gary Atkinson, pastor at Grace United Methodist Church of Rocky Grove, officiating.

A special “Thank You” to the nurses and aide at the Sugar Creek Station and the VNA Hospice Team for their care.

The family has requested memorial contributions to be sent to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd, Franklin, PA 16323.
