WARREN, Pa. (EYT) – State police in Warren are investigating the death of a woman found along the edge of the Allegheny River in the Warren area on Monday.

Police said a passing motorist reported seeing “something in the water” near the east bank of the Allegheny River, just south of SR-6 in Pleasant Township.

Troopers on the scene found the body of Sally Ann Engstrom, 36, of Warren, around 2:15 p.m. Monday.

Glade Volunteer Fire Department and Coroner Jerry Borden assisted at the scene.

Police do not suspect foul play.
