Wayne A. Swanson, 70, formerly of Hacker Street, Kane, PA, and a resident of The Lutheran Home at Kane, died Monday morning, August 13, 2018, at UPMC Kane.

Born May 4, 1948, in Kane, he was the son of Arthur E. and Catherine L. Condit Swanson.

A Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy, Wayne enjoyed visiting with people and doing calculus.

He is survived by his sister Judith Hudson and a nephew Steven L. Hudson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Gibbs Hill Cemetery in Ludlow with the rev. Leonard Eastman, former pastor of the Kane Revival Center, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kane Revival Center.
