MARIENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – State police in Marienville are investigating a case involving a prohibited weapon at SCI Forest.

Police said the alleged incident occurred yesterday around 8:25 a.m. when an 34-year-old male inmate was found to be in possession of a weapon.

Officials did not specify what type of weapon the suspect possessed.

An investigation is ongoing.
