…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST MONDAY…

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Wind Advisory…which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Monday.

* WIND…West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* PERIOD OF STRONGEST WIND…Tonight and early Monday.

* IMPACTS…Wind may blow down limbs…trees…and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

This Wind Advisory means that wind gusts near 45 mph are expected.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM EST MONDAY…

* SNOW ACCUMULATION…3 to 4 inches.

* TIMING…Rain will change to snow late this afternoon. The period of heaviest snow will be overnight through early Monday.

* WIND…West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* IMPACTS…Snow will cover roads. Blowing snow will hinder clearance efforts and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory means snow will cause travel difficulties.
