Wesley C. Jackson

Wesley C. Jackson, 75, of White Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville (Hempfield Twp.), PA, formerly of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, passed away gently on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 12:05 pm at the nursing home.

He was born in De Queen, AR on December 2, 1936 to Wesley C. and Ruby Opal Jackson.

Wesley worked in the small engine repair industry for Stihl and Husqvarna in and around Bonners Ferry, Idaho for more than thirty years. He served in the U.S. Air Force for more than ten years and loved to travel.

Wesley was a kind, loving husband and father. He was always there for his friends or a stranger in need and never asked for anything in return. With his passing, a light went out in our hearts. There will never be enough words to say how much we will miss him.

Wesley is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Faye Kyle Jackson of Transfer, PA. They were married on February 14, 1997. Also surviving are: two daughters – Sue Russell of Sagle, ID and Lyn Jackson of New York; two sons – Butch Jackson of Minnesota and Kurt Jackson of Sandpoint, ID; two step-sons – Rick Swartzfager and his wife, Pam, of Libby, MT and John Swartzfager and his wife, Cindy, of Clarkston, WA; and two step-daughters – Betty Johnson and her husband, Ronald, of Franklin, PA, and Paula Swartzfager of Transfer, PA; 29 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of: OSBORNE-WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 73-75 Columbia Ave. Greenville, PA 16125.
