TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — West Forest School has announced its 2018 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

West Forest 2018 Valedictorian: Bryant Niederriter

Bryant is the son of Valerie and Eric Niederriter.

Bryant has received the Presidential Excellence Award in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. Bryant has also received the Thomas D Fulton Award, Ruth and Vernon Taylor Award, the Proper Scholarship, Sherman Scholarship, Lions Club Award, and the University of Rochester Xerox Award. Bryant participated in National Honor Society, Basketball, Student Historians, Foreign Language Club, Envirothon, and was a member of Homecoming Court.

In the future, Bryant plans to attend Penn State Behrend where he will major in Engineering.

West Forest 2018 Salutatorian: Stephen Culver

Stephen is the son of Susan and James Culver.

Stephen has received the Presidential Excellence Award in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. Stephen has also received the Bausch and Lomb Science Award and the Excellence in Chemistry Award. Stephen has been a member of the Envirothon team on which he has competed at the state level, and is also a member of the National Honor Society.

Stephen’s future plans are to join the US Air Force.
