West Kittanning Authorities Seeking Armed Robber

ARMSTRONG COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, police in West Kittanning are searching for a man who is accused of robbing several Kittanning area businesses.

Sources say Heath Kuntz, along with his wife, Jaysa Kuntz, allegedly stole a cash register at Fords Flowers on Butler Road on July 27; authorities say the cash register is valued at $1,400, and it contained about $400 in cash.

According to police, Heath and Jaysa Kuntz took their 4-year-old daughter with them over the next several days robbing businesses in the Kittanning area.

Jaysa Kuntz was arrested on Tueday; she is currently in the Armstrong County Jail awaiting her preliminary hearing which is scheduled for Wednesday.

Police say Heath Kuntz is still at large; he is considered armed and very dangerous.

Heath is described as a white male, about 6′ tall, brown hair, brown eyes, and weighing approximately 190 pounds.

Authorities also say Heath Kuntz is a known heroin addict.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
