William McCutcheonWilliam K. McCutcheon, 74, of Brookville, PA, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Penn Highlands Brookville.

He was born January 16, 1943 in Vandergrift, PA, the son of William G. and Lois C. (Shivers) McCutcheon.

William graduated from Elderton High School in 1960 and lived in DuBois for many years before spending the last 30 years in Brookville.

He was a carpenter and worked for himself and other companies over the years until retiring in 1994.

William was a member of Egypt Methodist Church in Brookville and belonged to the Warsaw Firemen’s Club.

Hunting and fishing were his favorite hobbies and he was a member of the Heath Pump Station Sportsmen’s Club.

William also enjoyed visiting flea markets and playing cards.

He cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren, and will be best remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and the love he had for his family.

He will be remembered with love by his wife, Marion E. (Scott) McCutcheon, whom he married September 6, 1974; sons, William K. McCutcheon, Jr. and wife, Sandy, of Arkansas, Jim E. McCutcheon, of Georgia, Scott A. Hawk and wife, Linda, of Johnstown, Bryan K. McCutcheon and wife, Rhonda, of Indiana, PA, and Steve W. Hawk, of Clarion; daughter, Penny R. Bellan and husband, Joseph, of Sagamore; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two on the way; brother, Don E. McCutcheon and wife, Loretta, of Elderton; and sisters, Betty, Linda and Lisa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the funeral home, with Pastor Brad Lockwood officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Union Lutheran Cemetery, Shelocta, Pennsylvania.
