Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Check, Forging Victim’s Name

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin Police report that an incident of Theft and Forgery took place in the City of Franklin.

Police say that after an investigation was conducted, it was discovered that 36-year-old Clover Rhome allegedly stole a check from a City of Franklin resident on July 8, 2014.

According to police, Rhome then in filled the check out and forged the victim’s name for the purposes of cashing the check.

She was arrested on July 21 in the 1100 Block of Liberty Street.

A bond of $5000.00, un-secured, was set in this incident.
