CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – A woman was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital after being shot early Saturday morning in Clarion.

According to KDKA-TV, the shooting happened between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. at a location on Leatherwood Drive near Clarion University.

The report indicated that the woman was shot in the leg with a small caliber weapon.

As of Saturday evening, she was listed in stable condition.

No further details have been released.

Calls to police have not yet been returned.
