SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A one-vehicle accident occurred on Friday afternoon on Interstate 80, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police say the crash occurred around 2:16 p.m. on Friday, March 2, as 66-year-old Jane H. Sutton, of Youngstown, Ohio, was traveling east on I-80, east of Stone Church Road in Scrubgrass Township.

Sutton reached over into the passenger’s compartment to grab a CD and lost control of her 2006 Chevrolet Impala. The car struck the guide rails, traveled over 300 feet, and then traveled off the roadway and down an embankment. Then, the car struck a tree and rolled over and came to a rest back on its wheels.

Emlenton Area Ambulance transported Sutton to Grove City Hospital for suspected minor injuries.

She was charged with a traffic violation.
