Woman Injured in Route 8 Rollover Crash

VICTORY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Harrisville woman was injured in a rollover crash Friday morning in Victory Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 9:12 a.m., on Friday, February 1, Chelcie A. Ketterer, 26, of Harrisville, was operating a 2007 Chevrolet Impala, traveling north in the right lane of State Route 8 just north of Twin Oaks Road.

Police say Ketterer’s vehicle lost traction and slid off the left side of the roadway. It then rolled over at least once before coming to a final rest on its wheels, facing west.

Community Ambulance Service transported Ketterer to Grove City Area Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

Ketterer was wearing a safety belt, according to police.

Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department, Mercer Auto Wreckers the Pennsylvania Game Commission also assisted at the scene.

Ketterer was cited for a lane violation.
