Work on Raymilton Road Bridge in Frenchcreek Township Scheduled to Start Next Week

OIL CITY, Pa. – A portion of Raymilton Road (Route 3017) in Frenchcreek Township, Venango County, will be closed beginning next week for bridge repairs.

Work on the bridge, which is located near the intersection with Glenn School Road (1012) at the Venango/Mercer county line, is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 7.

A detour will be posted extending into Mercer County using Glenn School Road, Route 173, and Route 62.

The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one month.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions, and pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
