OIL CITY, Pa. — The Oil City YMCA has announced its schedule for upcoming basketball for adults and youth.

HOLIDAY HOOPS 4-VS-4 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

A Holiday Hoops 4-vs-4 basketball tournament will be held at the Oil City YMCA on Saturday, January 6. The Holiday Hoops Tournament will feature round robin play, followed by single elimination playoff.

Teams may consist of four to six players, all of whom must be 18 or older. Contact Max Krepps for more information.

The cost to participate is $65.00 per team.

JR. NBA BASKETBALL

Basketball season is coming to the YMCA in January for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. Youth will learn fundamentals and skills through drills and live game play during this fun eight-week program starting January 13.

Three sessions are available based on age. Kindergarten will meet at 10:00 a.m.; Grades 1-2 will meet at 11:00 a.m.; Grades 3-5 will meet at 12:00 p.m.

All players receive reversible NBA team jerseys. Jr. NBA will meet Saturdays at the YMCA.

The cost is $25.00/Members; $40.00/Non-members.

WINTER ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE

The Oil City YMCA has announced a Winter Adult Basketball League for ages 18+ that begins on Tuesday, January 16. The league will meet weekly at the Oil City YMCA Gymnasium.

Teams of seven to 12 players will be permitted to enter the league. The league will consist of a round robin regular season, followed by a playoff format determined by the number of teams that participate.

The cost per team is $265.00 and local business sponsorships are welcome.

The Oil City YMCA winter hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
