YMCA Extends Membership Savings Offers

The YMCA offers several ways to save on memberships to allow you to enjoy the Oil City Y and their programs all year long.

Young Adult Membership

Young adults (age 19-29) receive a significant savings on YMCA memberships at the Oil City YMCA. The young adult rate is just $25 per month for each young adult, plus a one-time $12 activation fee. Monthly bank draft is available or members can pay quarterly or annually. Activation fees will be waived when members pay annually.

Buddy-Up for Fitness Membership

Buddy-up for Fitness is a member referral program that will save two non-members who join together 20% off their monthly membership fees for life as long as they both remain a member of the YMCA. Members may also refer a non-member to enjoy the same savings.

Family Membership: $41.60/monthly

Corporate Membership Partner Plan

The Oil City YMCA offers corporate savings to employee groups of two or more. Employers may become a corporate partner with the YMCA at no cost or commitment to extend the savings to all employees. Participation in Insurance Plans

Over 500 Venango County residents utilize the YMCA through their insurance company’s healthy lifestyle programs. Popular programs through insurance companies include SilverSneakers, Active & Fit and Silver & Fit. Many insurance companies offer free memberships to older adults through these programs. These memberships have the same benefits as a regular membership and allow full-use of the YMCA. Check with your insurance company to find out if you qualify.

Youth, Single Parent and Senior Membership Savings

The YMCA offers a savings to residents who are single parents, seniors and youth. The membership rate is reduced for members who fall into these categories. For more information, visit www.oilcityymca.org/membership-rates.

Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance is provided to area residents and youth who meet certain income requirements. No one will be denied participation at the YMCA due to financial reasons. Scholarships are available through a confidential process. Applications are available at www.oilcityymca.org/resources. Processing of the Financial Assistance application takes 2-3 weeks.

Free Child Watch Services

One of the benefits to your YMCA membership is free child watch services for ages eight months through seven years old. Parents can take advantage of this service Monday through Friday from 9 am to 11:30 am and Monday through Thursday from 5:30 – 7:30pm .

Reduced Program Rates

YMCA Members receive reduced program rates just for being a YMCA member. Visit the YMCA website, www.oilcityymca.org for more information.

The Oil City YMCA hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
