12-Year-Old Seneca Girl Charged After Biting Her Mother

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police have released details surrounding an incident involving a 12-year-old Seneca girl who allegedly bit her mother, causing serious bodily injury. 

Franklin-based State Police said the incident happened on May 24 in the 400 block of Meadow Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Through investigation, police learned that the known juvenile female engaged in a verbal argument with her mother before becoming physically aggressive.

A physical altercation ensued and the juvenile bit the victim on her left forearm, causing physical injury.

The girl was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment through a written allegation. She was subsequently placed at Pathways Adolescent Center pending a court hearing.
