Local Man Injured in Rollover Crash on Route 8 in Cornplanter Township
CORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin released the details of a rollover crash that occurred on Route 8 in Cornplanter Township last Saturday morning.
According to Franklin-based State Police, this crash happened at 8:48 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, on State Highway 8, in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.
Police say 33-year-old Nicholas A. Felix, of Oil City, lost control of his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado after he passed two vehicles and was re-entering the northbound lane.
The vehicle traveled off the east side of the roadway and traveled approximately 156 before rolling over.
It then struck a bush and came to final rest on a nearby property.
Felix suffered minor injuries and was transported to UPMC Northwest by Cornplanter Volunteer Fire Department.
Felix was not using a seat belt.
According to police, Felix was charged with a traffic violation.
