State Police Release Details on 13-Year-Old Student Charged With Drug Possession

SPRING TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Meadville released the details of a 13-year-old student who has been charged with drug possession in Spring Township, Crawford County.

Meadville-based State Police were dispatched to Conneaut Valley School located at 22154 State Highway 18 around 10:07 a.m. on February 6 regarding a student in possession of a THC Vape pen.

Police met with the School Resource Officer (SRO) who reported the incident.

The SRP advised the student–identified as a 13-year-old Springboro male–was suspected to have in his possession a vape pen.

The student was called to the officer and asked about possessing a vaping device, and he admitted to having a THC vaping device in his possession. The vaping device was seized and later placed in evidence, according to police.

Charges have been filed accordingly, police say.
