SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to a report of a domestic assault that occurred around 11:30 p.m. on November 8, on Lamberton Street, Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

According to police, 27-year-old Richard James Beatty, II, allegedly physically assaulted a 47-year-old woman during a domestic dispute.

A criminal complaint was filed with Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish charging Beatty with Assault.

He was committed to the Venango County Jail.
