TIONESTA BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say around 3:00 p.m. on March 20, an assault occurred at a residence along Elm Street, in Tionesta Borough, Forest County.
According to police, a 27-year-old Tionesta woman struck a 49-year-old Tionesta woman in the face and head on numerous occasions with a closed fist.
The 49-year-old victim suffered injuries to her face and head, police say.
The 27-year-old suspect was taken into custody and charged with the following offenses through District Court 37-4-93:
- Simple Assault
- Harassment
The name of the suspect was not released.
