Don Orr served our country in the United States Air Force.

Name: Donald “Don” R. Orr

Born: October 28, 1934

Died: December 17, 2020

Hometown: Franklin, Pa.

Branch: U.S. Air Force

Don Orr enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was Honorably Discharged as an Airman 2nd Class on December 17, 1957, having earned a Good Conduct Medal and the National Service Defense Medal.

During his time in the Air Force, Don was an airplane mechanic.

He also served his community through his membership with the Cooperstown Evangelistic Tabernacle.

He was laid to rest next to his wife in the Franklin Cemetery.
