RENO, Pa. (EYT) – Community Services of Venango County (CSVC) is hosting its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser on Monday, April 9, at the Wanango Golf Club.

The event begins at 4:00 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a meal of specialty soups and bread, prepared and served by eleven local restaurants: Amazing Foods, Classy Catering, Northside Eatery, Bella Cucina, John Kluck, Dawndi’s, the Franklin, Wanango Golf Club, The Yellow Dog Lantern, Benjamin’s, and Karma Coffee Company.

Each guest will leave with a handcrafted “Empty Bowl.” The bowls were created by local students from Cranberry, Franklin, Rocky Grove, and Oil City School Districts to remind them of the empty bowls throughout the community.

There will be a silent auction with artwork donated by local artists – Frank Rogers from Allegheny Clay Works and Mark Anderton from RedFoot Pottery.

Also, there will be gift basket raffles from CSVC.

Tickets are $15.00 each, and kids ages five and under are admitted for free.

Tickets ARE ON SALE NOW and can be purchased at the Franklin Chamber of Commerce, Venango Chamber of Commerce, CSVC offices at the Transit Building, Cranberry Place at the Cranberry Mall, or from any CSVC staff member.

Wanango Golf Club is located at 314 Chestnut Street, Reno, Pa.
